- Parent Handbook
- The parent handbook is your preschool Bible! You will find an introduction letter, philosophy of education, and curriculum overview. You will also find a list of parent responsibilities and tips, opportunities for parent involvement, and our daily schedule.
Upcoming Events:
- Monthly field trips will be taken as a way to incorporate the curriculum so that it is fun and exciting and extends what we are learning in the classroom. As the field trips are established and approved, permission slips will be sent home with more detail, and also uploaded to the blog for easier access. Remember, each new field trip requires a new permission slip in order for your child to be able to participate!
- So far, the schedule is as follows:
- April 18, 2012- Frederick City Postal Office
- May 16, 2012- Summers Farm Adventure
- June 13, 2012- Catoctin Zoo
Technology Integration
- Incorporating technology into our classroom will get children even more excited about learning. The children will be able to utilize the Computer Center, where they can access literacy, math, and science games/activities that will support what we are learning. They will also have access to a class camera for documenting things that are important to them which we will upload to their individual folder on the computer together. Lastly, the children will have access to an iPod touch as a learning station that has educationally appropriate applications/games that I have downloaded for their use.
